Alot. Dodrio, Electrode, Magcargo, Serperior, Vivillon, Toucannon, Crabominable and Minior all make me sad.

I feel like Crabominable was a no brainer too. Find Crabrawler on isle of armor and evolve it in the crown tundra. And people who collected all the Vivillon patterns not being able to see them in HD sucks.

Shaymin not being in the game is what ultimately made me skip it, and probably just abandoned this series for good. These games have proven that they have no incentive or intention on ever shaking up the formula, so if I can't even mow through their slog of a Kanto rehash with the Pokemon I actually want to use, then what's the point anymore?

I guess it seems weird that the majority of pokemon could be considered scraps

For a lot of people, getting to interact with their favorite Pokemon on new hardware is the only positive take-away since functionally these games are no different than they were back in gen 1, so as arbitrary as it seems, that is very much a deal-breaker for people

I'm with the dexitfags, bring them all back. That said, I think it's especially asinine that starters are left out. They're some of the most important Pokemon to starting to a journey, nearly everyone has at least some level of attachment to at least one of them from each gen.

Also it sucks that Pachirisu got left out, too. If there's really to be rosterfaggotry, that little fucker deserves a permanent slot for being the shitmon that stunned the world by winning VGC.

SS with shit like camp and halfassed followers in the DLC could have at least been semi decent comfy games if they had all the comfy mons. I won't even bother emulating it unless they at least add the starters back.

Minior is my number one choice.
Secondaries are Shroomish line, Paras line, Smeargle, maybe Flabebe line.
Electrode only if they add Gigantamax Electrode with the special move G-Max Explosion.
