Right, but it's faster than any other Pokemon game/hack. I get complaining about IVs existing at all, they fucking suck, but how is that related to Radical Red?
Short of removing them entirely (which I'd totally be in favour of) RR makes it faster than any other Pokemon game to get max IVs

In any other pokemon game/hack, grinding for EVs/IVs is not necessary at all, because the difficulty is correctly adjusted so as not to require that. In those games, EV/IV are a bother but don't ruin the whole experience.On the other hand, Radical Red INTENTIONALLY sets the difficulty in a way to heavily punish the player that doesn't neurotically grinds for EVs. It's bad game design.

Nah anon, I playing Pokémon games for pokemon themselves and comfy atmosphere those games can provide, not because I itching to prove myself what I am good in competitive or whatever.
At the same time I like conveniently difficult games like Souls series etc, but talking about games like Pokémon, I’m just prefer to relax in those and play casually so this kind of fan games ain’t for me either.

There's better ways to farm for (You)s here than shitting up a thread about a flavor of the month romhack. This samefag must be personally upset over the hack, and that's just sad.
Anyway, would be better off as a doubles hack, but as a singles hack it's probably as good as we're gonna get it at least in terms of Kanto-derived stuff.

I'd much rather have a battle simulation/tournament game that allows for different rules and fully customizable pokemon, you could play by smogon rules. or agree with your opponent that the rules will be a set of preset patch options. with new types, new moves with differing power. maybe more attacks, maybe a non turn-based variant of pokemon with cooldowns. there are tons of new evolution designs that people have made and to see what attributes each one could strategically have is going to add all kinds of new complexity to the game as well as being able to gamble on the outcome of fights, poke bitcoin anyone?

In-battle items destroy Pokemon difficulty even in other "hard mode" hacks so its interesting to play a hack designed around banning them. The EXP system is also very nice and virtually eliminates EXP grinding unless you're raising up a low level mon in the late game or something

If you like catching a shit ton of Pokemon and constantly rotating them out, it's great. You can have a box-full of Pokemon all levelled up and battle-ready and grinding them there doesn't even feel like a chore

Is understandable that normalfags wants the game to be easier, the selling point of this games are the new pokemon and the qol changes. Honestly I would like it more if it was only the new monsters and the other changes to the game, the difficulty is okay because is only "hard" when you figth bosses, everything else is easy.
