>>45661646Fakes are mostly gen 3, 4 and 6 era cards printed on shitty paper that get sold as loose packs or weird "preview decks", you'll easily find them in gas stations and shitty just clothes/toy stores, though wotc fakes exist, they're easy to spot, but recently so-called "orica" or "original cards" have popped up where faggots on etsy and ebay would but completely assmangled wotc holos and miscut Evolutions holos (the type of shit that wouldn't be worth grading), stripped the ink off them and printed 1st ed charizards and other high-ticket shit on them, they mostly just list them as the real deal and add weaselwords like "new edition" and "proxy" somewhere in the product description so they can atleast pretend that they aren't scamming people. Once saw a guy at a flea market selling an entire booster box of fake ex power keepers, asked him to open a pack before I bought them, fake as fuck, he just spiked them off the ground and told me to fuck off, picked up a bunch of random wotc and ex shit in a binder from a different seller though and it was all legit.
