>>45668587In pokemon terms, he'd probably be some combination of Dragon, Fire = Fighting, in that order.
His claws are explictly said to be more powerful against Dragon species digimon, and it's said they are a double edged sword for it, so it's clearly part Dragon. But if the fire or fighting elements are more promentn depends on your takre.
Digimon don't really have the same elemental rules, though. The main sort of elementa/attribute affiliation Digimon have is a triangle of Viruses, Data, and Vaccines. Virus Digimon tend to be destructive or chaotic, and are strong against Data digimon, who are sort of neutral, who are strong against Vaccine Digimon, who tend to be heroic and noble, who beat Viruses. There's also Free, Neutral, none, and Variables, who are sort of slightly different "N/A"'s in that systems. If this system is just super effectivness, or also resisitences, depends on the game.
There's also usually some sort of "elemental" attribute in digimon TCG and games, but the exact types/elements there are, who gets what, and their connotations changes based on the media.
Ijn the card gamre, there's "Fields", representing the sort of habitat and affiliation digimon can have": Dragon's Roar (Dragonic, Dinosaur, and sometimes firey Digimon), Jungle Trooper (plant, insect, etc digimon), Deep Savers (aquatic and icy digimon), Metal Empire (cyborg, robotic, and mechanical digimon), Nature Spirits (Beasts, and sometimres generic dinosaurs, monsters, insects, and mineral monsters; Dragons Roar and Jungle Troopers was split up from this but it still exists as it's own thing too). Wind Guardians (Bird, insect, plant, and fairy digimon, a lot of former WG mons are now in jungle troopers), Nightmare Soldiers (demonic, halloweeny, and supernatural digimon), and Virus Busters (angelic and holy Digimon. There's also sometimes Dark Area (demons, otherwordly digimon) and Unknown (wierd, mutant, trash, and otherworldy digimon).
