BW2 is the better game but BW1 has a lot unique to it, like the whole regional dex thing.
It's the only "first version" worth playing, really.

No, OP is right there's almost always a loser and a chad version. For example if you're a loser you pick sapphire instead of ruby or shield instead of sword.

White and white 2, both have the superior exclusives: thundurus, reuniclus line, braviary line, zekrom and white kyurem. Getting to the sequel exclusives does make the split more fair, with the magby, stunky and gible lines being black exclusive, but i would still go with white for the previously mentioned exclusives.
