Giving it Strong jaw additionally with it's inherent abilities like Intimidate or Moxie would really help increase it's viable coverage moves.

Telepathy would be less useful but more in line with the lore of the pokemon itself.

I guess you could pair Truant with either Mummy (which in this case will copy over Mummy and Truant to the opposing pokemon). Or you could give it Receiver, which copies the ability of a defeated ally which could work like it reduces Slakings abilities to one.

Actually a good combo would be Truant + Unseen Fist. Can only attack every other turn, but those attacks are unlockable.

Giving Battery to the Electivire line would be a start, maybe buffing Motor Drive to draw electric attacks too.

Doesn't even need a new ability. Just let it use both Technician and Skill Link.
Similar situation for Porygon-Z (or all of the Porygons, for that matter).
