>>45692896I have a real smooth brain and am a ESL and even so I managed to make a pretty mechanically decent action plataformer whithin the first month of use, while in GMS I spent days just trying to work out the very basic stuff, so while I'm sure GMS is more powerful, it for sure requires much more effort to use well
in the end I think PGM is the right choice for me, because I can pretty much do anything I want with very low effort (I'm yet to run into an engine boundary, and currently I'm making a complez strategy/management game which is also a monster hunter knockoff)
