Makes you feel like shit whenever your pokemon fucks up because it has a nature that's bad in a certain stat like "damn, if I didn't have a negative speed nature i could've outsped him", or "Fuck, I hate this -SpD nature because I keep getting fucked by all these trainers and their damn Roselias with Magical Leaf, I should've been able to tank that!" and like hell am I catching 20 of the same pokemon to eventually get one with an ideal nature, I don't have time for that bullshit. I honestly love when I catch a pokemon with a neutral nature for this reason.
I hate breeding too, I just want to play the single player main quest, honestly I wish the main quest went all the way to level 100. Like, I don't give a fuck about trying to breed the master race or whatever, why would I breed a Pikachu when I could just catch one in the wild? Even worse is that most romhacks seem to love throwing trainer pokemon with perfect IVs, EVs and natures at you so you HAVE to fucking breed to be on the same level as them. Fuck that. I don't mind having to grind a bit to be able to beat them but would it kill people to make the enemy trainers have stuff that resemble an in-game pokemon trained by a guy who doesn't care about the guts and bolts of it all? Like give them all imperfect IVs, and have the EVs sort of haphazard and often in the wrong place, like how I had a Kadabra back in the day with huge Attack and Defense for a Kadabra because I leveled it up fighting wild Machokes and Gravelers. That's the kind of shit they should have.
