>>45705030I know I'm in the minority but I absolutely fucking adore Mega Venusaur's design.
Mega Venusaur expands on the base idea and runs with it. Bulbasaur has the bulb, Ivysaur has the budding flower, and on Venusaur the flower has come to full bloom and come with extra foilage. MEGA-Venusaur amps this up by turning Venusaur from a single flower into an entire fucking ecosystem, giving him extra flowers, even more foilage with tons of extra leaves granting him a lower area of overgrowth, two entire fucking trees with a network of vines forming an entire canopy on his back, all framed around his now-enormous flower which has risen up and become almost like a crowning part of his forest.
Mega-Venusaur turns from a mere Toad/Dino Hybrid with a Flower on it's back into an entire fucking Ecosystem. It's become a living, breathing Jungle that puts Torterra to shame, a literal titan of nature itself. I see a massive behemoth who has become so entwined with nature that he's bonded with his home, it's like something out of shadow of the colossus except with a fearsome amphibious monster instead of a beast of rock and stone. A living personification of nature's wrath, who is coming for you and is going to drag you down and shrug off any attack you can hope to muster up while firing off beams of pure, concentrated sunlight.
Seriously, he's rad as fuck.
