Even then, I'd argue it does a fantastic job at molding spy elements into its body while staying in-line with lizard-monster traits. It's gliding suit is really just a gliding membrane, something irl lizards have. It's tail knife is a repurposed tail frill, something irl lizards have. I could go on.
I can understand the complaints about it's design itself, like yeah, it being so skinny can put people off, and maybe you dislike the detailed hands' prominence, but the complaints that are purely on the basis of hating it because apparently monsters must look or act a certain way or they don't count is retarded.
