I gave XY the benefit of the doubt thinking that this was just GF getting used to the transition to 3D. I figured they'd get their shit together with a 3rd game or a sequel.
Z/XY2 never came and ORAS was a complete disappointment.
S/M was a tirefire, told my friend who I'd been playing polemon with since Blue that I was dropping if the next game was trash, US/UM somehow managed to be even worse. My friend wanted me to continue with him. I told him that I might give it a shot if the next games didn't hold my hand like a retard.
They would proceed to make a game that would princess carry the player with LGPE. I never looked back. It was clear that GF realized the power of their brand name and that they don't have to try ever again.
The games will only get worse and empty from here now that fans have told GF that they are fully ok with needing to pay extra for a complete game.
