It's gotten easier, only time I didn't actively catch/evolve the majority of them was Gen VII, I caught some, then filled out the dex with Banked shit. ST helped me get VIII's done just before new year's last year.

I really did not enjoy gen 6 enough to justify putting them all in one place again, but gen 7 was good enough. Now they’re all either in SwSh or comfortably waiting in Home.

Technically yes, but never a living dex. Right now, I'm working on my living dex + forms for Home, of which the only generation I'm missing is 8. I'm not looking forward to obtaining all Alcrieme at all, even if Vivillion was technically harder
