Ursaring moveset

Lads, I'm playing Crystal. Which elemental punch should I put on Ursaring? Its moveset is Slash, Earthquake, Faint Attack and Cut. The punch would replace Faint Attack.

Replace cut with return, replace faint attack with hidden power or shadow ball. Get rid of slash for thrash

It doesn't get Shadow Ball and I'm not gonna grind it 12 levels just so it has slightly more powerful STAB. Cut is also not going away, I'm not using HM slaves except for Whirlpool and Waterfall.

Ice Punch
Rest/Filler/Cut/Strength

Only use Ice Punch against Rock types. Fire Punch temporarily could help against Jasmine, but is not useful otherwise. Swift if you want to use it for Slowpoke well / Bugsy since it has really bad moves at first.
Keep Return even if you give him Strength, since it's better and it doesn't get many moves anyway.

If you haven't beat the league, Ice Punch comes in handy vs Lance. If you're already in Kanto, try a Curse set with Rest.

Also use the duplicate pokemon glitch to copy TMs so you don't cuck yourself with giving earthquake away to 1 mon

You get 3 based turns that basically guarantee at least one and probably two KOs and then you switch out to the next good mon on your team because your team is well built, right?

Put strength instead of slash. I would reconsider a difference move like earthquake instead of elemental punch. You really only need something to hit ghosts and earthquake hits everything except misdreavus for SE. Strength has the advantage of being normal stab in a game where normal stab becomes RETARDED after you beat Whitney.

Oops realized you have eq. Faint attack or ice punch are the best options I think for an elemental niche move. Rest or curse is straight up better though. For steel types just use a different poke.
