I transferred my Celebi from VC crystal to SwSh via Home without problems.
Are you trying to transfer Celebi from Go? If so, you need to get mythicals or legendaries in SwSh first before you can bring over the same species from Go.

Bullshit, I've been building my shiny living dex with GO-cauht 'mons. Tomove any GO-cayght pokémon to the core games, you need to put a pokémmon of the same species, caught in a core game, into the game first before you're able to drop you GO 'mons in.

Because is your fisrt celebi in swsh. You need a celebi from the main games first and then you can transfer the one from GO

As long as you've put a pokémon from a Game Freak game in to the current game, or have already caught that pokémon in the new game, you can put the GO-caught stuff into your game.
I hope this means the shiny Mew available next year will be transferrable, but seeing as how Celebi is, I doubt they'll lock the others out.

You cannot seriously be telling me Bank was finnicky. Home literally makes you switch between the Switch and mobile for basic tasks and kicks you off if you happen to log into one or the other while you do something.

They're running an event a week before Pokémon day in GO, complete the ticket event, get access to a second special research tasklist that gives out a shiny Mew at the end.
All 151 Kanto pokémon will be available as shiny in wild spawns during and after the event.
