I think it would be a nice change of pace and make her much more integral to the plot. She already shares many traits with the typical villain such as being mysterious, being hedonistic, being remarkably intelligent, and most importantly, being manipulative. With her archeological knowledge, I could see her becoming a treasure hunter like Hunter J from the anime.
