You and your partner found your own team and guild, then recruit and train other pokemon. You get to loosely plan your base and recruits, maybe have a few options for each major character role (Ie, Story character 1, 2, 3, and 4 are set slots, with pools of 3 or 4 pokemon you can pick for each, with basically the same lines, but different executions of them or something)
Act 1 is you getting off your feet and getting the resources to found your base, Act 2, you finally have your act together, establish your base, and get your first recruits. Act 3, your team is in full swing and is becoming a name. Longest part, where most of the meat happens; your recruits can be taken along, directly controlled in their own dungeons, or grouped up to complete requests while you do your shit. Act 4, the player and partner go off to do something important, and the guild has to fend for itself. Act 5, the player and partner are in trouble, the guild comes to their rescue.
Finale, you have to build several teams to accomplish various goals in a multi-part superdungeon.
