Pre-DLC was fine. I think IoA Meta was the peak of it all. Crown Tundra, sadly, fucked it all up and now basically every team has, once again, returned to the tran/lando/UB cores with mimikyu being a dickhead, except now Dynamax exists for them to abuse and Cinderace/Rillaboom competing for top dog.
That being said, even in this shit, shit meta, I can still have fun using my favorites, so long as my team is built to support them. I've managed to climb to the 1000s with my team of bros and it's been a lot of fun. I just wish I could see more of the experimental fun shit in IoA again.
