>>45753321Posted about the Valor Mountain battle in Rejuvenation last thread. I made a team that beats it on intense pretty consistently.
>Gastrodon>Damp rock>Rain danceOnly there to set up rain dance then die. The AI will target it, taking heat off Melia's Togekiss.
>Mantine>Swift Swim>Telluric seed>BounceGets outsped by Minior with Shields Down, so the seed gives it some extra durability. Bounce changes the field to open air.
>Greninja>Magical Seed>SurfFroakie was my starter, but you could use most other water types here. The main purpose is to set up Tailwind with the seed and KO Typhlosion/Mega Gengar.
>Swanna>Mystic Water>Surf>HurricaneJust here to do big damage with Surf & Hurricane.
>Blastoise>Sitrus Berry>Rain Dance>Surf>ProtectSets up Rain Dance again when it expires. This role may not be necessary and could probably be replaced with another flyer like Crobat or an electric type. I didn't even have Rain Dish on it.
>Staraptor>Reckless>Brave BirdHardest hitter on the team in open skies. Did most of the damage to Dragonite.
The first three times I tried, Mantine flinched to Minior's rock slide. But the first time it didn't flinch, I won pretty handily and didn't feel too pressured. Watch out for the fact that Clefable is holding a Magical Seed. I think the efficiency of the team could also be further improved by leading with Lumineon because it learns Bounce and Rain Dance and is fast enough to outspeed Minior with its shields up, but I didn't feel like training one.
