the only real "hard" part of the game is the ultra necrozma battle, which would pretty much kill any unprepared team that isnt way to overleveled for the parts following that battle. it is very explotable though

Some of the totems aren't "hard", but are at least better than previous games. Specifically Araquanid, Ribombee, Mimikyu, and of course Lurantis can be tough if you don't have a planned counter.

I dropped it after the first trial, pokemon games have zero replay value unless you're severely autistic.

Honestly this. I loved Sun, but playing Ultra Sun was a painful slog, not helped by the fact that they went back to the 3rd version well and just rehashed the same game while butchering the plot (which I actually liked).

I'm playing Ultra Sun right now. If any of you lads want to get in touch with me to do some trades that would be cool.
I've got a couple of good nature+good 5IV babbies I'll otherwise just send out on wonder trades.
A couple are kadabras, a few are the fire starter. Going to be working on breeding the water starter next.
Already have a pair of 6IV grass starters and can breed them if anyone wants.

By conventional standards, it's not really Pokemon. You're better off sticking with Gen 6 and below if you want a game instead of a visual novel.

rich as fuck, rotolotto+lucky coin all the way make you up to 6 millions after normal play, now extra lottos+pokepelago and some luck you could end hit max money twice easily
by other hand no more HA in island scan, that's one of the truly downsides of this game

Gen VII as a whole, which is a shame cause it had some cool mons like Toucannon, and Alola was a neat concept but the Hawaiian islands were downsized to rocks in a puddle.

I don't know anon, but whatever you end up experiencing on these games, it's sure to end up racking at least 15 hours of playtime from things that aren't you actually controlling the game!

Oh, but don't forget!! If you aren't having fun with the game, you're clearly just rushing through it and not doing all the JUICY OPTIONAL stuff. Be sure to check EVERY small hallway and talk to EVERY inconsequential NPC after you already completed the game for crumbles of content that I'll spread out as an excuse to say these games are worth your time and totally not devoid of soul! Just look at my animation!
