Now, if Square-Enix demanded FF as the crossover, GF would begrudgingly take it. But in almost any other case, aside from Tsunekazu Ishihara himself coming down to suggest it, it would definitely be Dragon Quest.
>>45756142To be fair, Yoshi P unfucked FF14, and if FF16 comes out in a reasonable amount of time, they have somebody good still working at the company in a management position. On the whole though they fuck in basically the opoosite direction of Game Freak. GF has no time or talent but try hard and it's not enough, SE has lots of time and talent but they take fucking forever to make something that people want in a way nobody wants it. The only exception is Dragon Quest where they usually outsource it to competent people. In fact only X (where Yoshi P was in charge of it) and XI were developed in house, to my recollection.
