1. Not being able to recruit shinies unless you beat the game, get a friend bow, use an orb, and have a friendship talent(?) was complete bullshit that takes the fun out of even encountering the shiny, and
2. IQ skills being replaced by a single talent (or whatever they were called) was a tragic downgrade.
Overall still a fun game, I just prefer the games being 2D. If they remastered it into some graphical style similar to Octopath but with less filters/light, I would absolutely love it.
