>>45770012 always bug me because it glaringly shows Arivalis doesn't have much imagination when it comes to interpreting Pokemon designs and placing them in a real world esthetic. I think what most Anons have a problem with is that these creatures only look like Pokemon on the surface.
Arivalis never takes into account a Pokemon's lore or how their nature or abilities in the game's would translate into the real world. All he does is find a real world animal and give it the color scheme of a Pokemon to me.
Now obviously when you take into account things like ghosts and fly balls of metal translation becomes harder to do, that's why his interpretations of Gengar, Honedge and Litwick work so well, but at times it feels like Arivalis is just making real world animal with a Pokemons colors rather than mystical creatures that are bounded by real world logic.
