I got the shiny Wimpod I wanted and now I'm at a loss as what to bother hunting now. Maybe a pretty purple rock like the other anon.

A Larvitar in the Crown Tundra. Was heading towards the frozen ocean area to get some KOs on Eiscue and it spawned on me as I was biking.

I'm really digging wild encounters as opposed to eggs lately. Eggs are faster, but there's something about the rush of finding it in the wild that makes wild shinies more fun.

I got her yesterday while doing headbutt trees,

My abra synchronized worked sadly so its a modest Pineco

No kidding, the Gen 2 rates are abysmally low compared to the bare minimum 20% chance of newer games, all the way up to 88% if you've got optimal conditions
That's not even getting into how much slower it is to hatch the eggs either, with that relatively slow bike and no Flame Body
Then again, that 1/64 chance is pretty much worth it despite it all...

Yeah I only went for Miltank because I heard 100% female gave the highest chances and I'm not far into the game. I might experiment more with chain breeding later down the line.

Haven't been keeping track but I've been doing it on/off for a few days and have about 20 eggs done I'd say. Hoping I'll get it by new years.

Also works with any non-english 'mon and an english one, but SM/USM take your PID into account when determining the shiny seed, so be aware. It's why magikarp swap breeding was a thing.

Male Galarian Zigzagoon in a lure ball, 1120 eggs so far. Hatched a female 606 eggs into it.

With premium, you can put 3 mons onto the GTS at once, and its hella active. Im gathering spare-legys, 2 of each kind, by mass-trading Vivillon form germany. they get traded almost isntantly.

Its Bank and GTS. you can do it on your phone while you´re at work or stuff. Without premium you can use the wonderbox for 3 pokemon. put them in there and wait a while, they´ll get wondertraded. also stuff like random grouptrades.

If you register a whole Livingdex on it, you get a free Magearna in original Color, and when you use it with Pokeon go one time, you get a free 100 Melmetal with gigadynamaxing.

Its great, even without using it much/active with premium. With basic subscription, you can use only 1 box, but for GTS purposes, thats more than enough
