How long do you think will they wait to make new Ultra Beasts? Almost 20 years like they did with the Regis or do you see new ones in the near future?

To be fair, I honestly didn’t expect two new IB’s in USUM. And no matter how much people argue, Eternatus is definitely invoking a UB vibe. I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t get another sooner. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Eternatus is NOT an Ultra Beast. Its base stats aren't all prime numbers.

I wish they weren't catchable pokemon and were instead freakish creatures from another dimension and are unrelated to pokemon. They should just be boss monsters

I doubt we'd get more soon since UB's were largely a gen 7 gimmick. The only reason they and Type Null were so prominent in gen 8 is because they were the preceeding generation. Gen 9 will likely do similar callbacks to Pokemon introduced in gen 8.

They're otherwordly beings equivalent to or stronger than many legendaries, created at a time when Pokemon was competing with Yokai Watch. I wouldn't be surprised if GF regretted creating them at this point, since they cause huge power creep in the meta along with Tapus.

I wouldn't mind, but given how the reaction to Gen 5's entirely new dex went I don't think they'd do entirely new dex ever again.
