Charizard should get an ability called fuck rocks if Charizard switches into stealth rocks instead of getting hurt it maxes out all his stats to +6 and his first 5 attacks ohko every turn after the 5th move his stats become -1 until he's at -6 at which point he blows up giving you an instant win

i could see magnezone making sense because it actually levitates, but not just to remove a weakness
I think they should explore making 4x weaknesses 3x instead though, some type combos are crippled too much imo

Not really, because there are still floating/flying Pokemon that aren't Flying type, and Flying types are immune to things they shouldn't be, like Mud Bomb and Bonemerang.
