Also working simulatenously on USUM, LGPE, SwSh and Little Town Hero was probably why all ended up to be shit.

I agree

>Forced you to catch Pokemon of a certain type(s) to enter a gym
>Was yet ANOTHER Kanto remake and STILL doesn't have cross gen evos from gens 2 and 4
>Had NPCs can be battled in co-op mode, but their teams don't change to double battle teams so the players are facing off NPCs 2v1. We could've had another game like Colosseum or GoD where most battles are double battles

The Let's Go games are the closest Gamefreak has ever come to the heart of what Pokemon should be about - developing bonds with Pokemon. They'd be the best games if there was a wider selection of partner pokemon, and more meaningful ways to interact with them. Well, and if the games were a new adventure instead of a plastic Kanto retread with worse catching mechanics.

literally no, I don't feel a connection with any of the pokemon I caught. I'm just forced to catch more and more. I can't even challenge them to see if they're worth catching. I just have to throw more and more balls at them and see if they work.
