1. Dynamax Energy (and z-power) may just be another form of Infinity energy. We see in Johto that certain types of radiation can force early evolution, creating shiny pokemon like the Red Gyarados. These effects are later seen in Megas (which use infinity energy to cause evolution) and Ultra Space which has many shiny pokemon and is described as "full of Necrozma's light"
Now look at what we know about Dynamaxing. Areas filled with Eternatus' energy cause pikemon to gain power and occasionally even change form. Pokemon that adapt to Dynamax energy also have notable increases in their potential to be shiny, as seen in Max Adventures. I think all of these are the same energy being used in different ways.
2. To follow that theory, the Max Adventure cave might be Eternatus' original crash site. It has much more dynamax energy than other dens, and looks like a crater on the map. It would make sense if this was from remnants of Eternatus' meteor.
3. Less of a theory, more of a fun fact. Eternamax Eternatus isn't based completely on a hand, it's also a 5-headed Hydra, which in Greek Mythology were reptiles known for their deadly venom, explaining Eternatus' typing of Poison/Dragon.
