No, they're shit. You don't need good IV to make it through pre-postgame. You'll have a much easier time breeding (and EV training) in postgame.

I only went back to its first evo after boxing it guessing that next gym would be poison since they follow the gen1 pattern and it had good special def + immunity, i didn't expect it to be this fucking good

whats a good place for hatching eggs? most mainline games put a nice phat straight line for you to run along within range of the daycare so you can stop and get any new eggs, nothing like that near daycare which leaves the underground for hatching but seems inefficient

the daycare moves in postgame, to an island that has a massive straight line. I personally use the underground if I want to hatch eggs before the postgame.

figured that might be the case. I'm not there yet, wanted to breed the dragun line to try and get one w/o a shit nature instead of fucking around in the safarizone

speaking of which, would sniper or megalauncher be better for the thing? I'm thinking megalauncher because it seems slow and setting up w/ focus energy might not be feasible, and even with focus energy + the crit specs i'm not sure if its guaranteed crits like in gen5 or just 33% like gen3

I accidentally skipped the first gym, which made me have to rush the dark cave.
Been looking for mons i want, but cant find any i really sync with. i want to replace 3/4 of my level 59 team.

Crystalking
Condoom
Finasoven
Clovour

I'm stuck at trying to beat brocks level 60 team, and trying to beat the illegal mexican leader guy.
I dont think clovours evolution will suddenly turn it around.
I like crystalking, he is one of the best, but he doesnt sync well with my condoom.
Finasover is good, but cant carry.

Should i just restart?

Just found out about /poclo/ and have never played a rom hack before. Had a ton of fun so far, first time ive played with SET battle style and it definitely makes thing a lot harder.
Pic related is my current team after beating the 8th gym and professor, how fucked am I?
Last few "boss" battles have been super tough, i had to dump all my rare candy into Batterex to beat lil boss on the boat.

Batterex was my MVP as usual and so was condoom. just get some pokemon that are bulky and can counter some of the typing (corooster helped me fuckin rape the shit out of his hazmate and smoxilion) with rock tomb and a flying type move. His toxiraptor will 100% get fucked over with a water type move. I forgot what i did for cacademon and crystaking. His ebolable lost out of sheer luck for me

He just uses the same meme pokemon over and over again, i dont think the intent was to fuck you over.
In retrospect he was a lot easier than many of the other later "bosses" that use diverse teams.

My one complaint about how you're running it is that you seem to have a lot of sacrificial moves like Memento, but these are the guys I'm going through the map with, running back to the pokecenter every other fight is too annoying to use those in standard play.
