I live in the southernmost part of an archipelago, which is normally rural and surrounded by mountains, but the city I live in is urban only because it is near a source of hydroelectric energy... in the 1970s, my city was wholly dependent on its steelworks which have closed down in 1990;
It also has a major port and the (southern part of my country)'s best university, which is the closest landmark to me... On the other hand, many of the buildings seem "stuck in the 1990s"...
The abandoned steel mill could house something like Magnemite, or maybe Aron... ah, there are lots of stray dogs in the university, I fed some once... maybe a Poochyena... maybe a Chinchou from the hydroelectric plant... if my city was in the game, the waterfalls would probably be where the gym was... I think?
...From there... my team would be... Poochyena, Magnemite, Chinchou... I'd like a Flying Pokèmon too, to fly around the country... probably something like Spearow, or Tropius... There's an old Catholic church in the city too, I could get a Litwick there I think
