N has a black and white (heh, get it?) view of the world, he thinks his sheltered life with Pokemon was ideal and thanks to Ghetsis he believes the outside world is a horrible place that only responds to violence and mistreatment.
N's goals are technically already achieved, people do mostly live alongside Pokemon in harmony, but his view of the world is so warped he can't see it, it's only thanks to his interactions with the MC and his journey through Unova that he realises this.
