I was dicking around with the tools last night after being disappointed with Volt White. I made a few Pokemon changes, buffed all the Gyms and shuffled wild Pokemon around a bit so Unova's early game isn't so barren and there are no more version exclusives.
I was only really planning on making a few small tweaks for personal use, to enhance the vanilla experience. But it's kinda fun and surprisingly easy. I'm probably gonna start over and put some more time and planning into it this time.
The main issue is I don't ACTUALLY know anything about romhacking, aside from changing numbers in tools other people have made. I'd like to add some more cool shit but I have no idea what to do or how to do it (and afaik Gen V hacking is still pretty rudimentary, so I don't even know what's possible)
