There's a library in Canalave City where you can read a lot of books containing some weird lore text, such as this one, which is referred to on Bulbapedia as Sinnoh Folk Story 3:
"There once were Pokémon that became very close to humans. There once were humans and Pokémon that ate together at the same table. It was a time when there existed no differences to distinguish the two."
While it's not really present here, but the original Japanese text of this story does explicitly refer to humans and Pokémon marrying each other:
ひとと けっこんした ポケモンがいた There once were Pokémon that married people.
ポケモンと けっこんした ひとがいた There once were people who married Pokémon.
むかしは ひとも ポケモンも おなじだったから ふつうのことだった
This was a normal thing because long ago people and Pokémon were the same.
