>>45808988>Graphics are betterI'm a huge spritefag. Seeing 3D models was a fun novelty in X/Y, but by OR/AS it got pretty stale to me. The animations are battle poses are all so bland and boring to me. Gen III may have been static, but at least you got to see some dynamic poses that brought out each Pokémon's personality and whatnot.
>music is remasteredThe music was one of the better things about OR/AS, sure. At the end of the day, though, I find myself looking up RSE's OST more often because the instruments make me feel like a kid again.
>it has soulEhhh, maybe in some respects that I haven't come to fully appreciate yet. I really enjoyed the Contest Spectaculars and stuff.
>megasMegas are neat, but they're kinda just icing. The ones they introduced in OR/AS are way cooler than the ones introduced in X/Y, I can say that.
>all the new pokemonWhat do you mean? I don't think any new things were introduced in OR/AS, considering it's a remake.
>an actual onlineI don't remember it. PSS from X/Y was pretty great, but aren't the online facilities shut down at this point anyway?
>physical/special splitGot me there. Unpopular opinion, though: pre-phys/spec split isn't an inherent downgrade. It's just a different way of looking at the game. There are some strategies that worked back then that don't now because of it, so I think it gives the early games' meta something unique to set them apart from the newer games, rather than have them be completely obsolesced in a gameplay sense.
>it contains everything in the originals and more except the battle frontierBattle Frontier is a LOT of content, to be fair.
