Nah, culling is a bluepilled idea. You're not obligated to use every single pokemon but at the exact same time, every pokemon is a favorite to someone and they, as pokemon fans, have as much right to play with their favorites as everyone else.

My only bro who didn't make it in. I know it's a Shitmon, but god damnit it's a fucking cool one with an awesome design and it was my designated egg-hatching-speeder-upper from Gen 4 through Gen 7.
I had a male one named Hatcher and a female one named Manjaa who served were traded about to different games, getting ribbons and reaching level 100 (the hard way, the way we used to do it). I really hope it comes back to me someday.

I know what you mean anon, I have a shiny Alolan Muk I found by complete accident in Ultra Moon. I never planned to put him on the team, but he ended up being such a bro that I took him all the way to the League. With all the ways SwSh lets you optimise a pokemon's IVs, nature etc. I was looking forward to taking him through the battle tower and even online.

Not so sure about that. LGPE are widely considered Gen 7 games, and even featured Alolan forms in the games.
Most of the Galarian forms would be suitable in Sinnoh in the same manner. We can probably expect some more megawanking too since that's what they've been shoving into every remake since 2013.

From these, all Kanto to Sinnoh mons (not Deoxys) were catchable in Platinum. So with a DP remake we may see these back - and they would add the remaining ~50 from gens 5-7 too.

It's why I was certain of them happening. Shit the outregion 50 can even be added as Dynamax Adventures encounters. It's like people actually didn't play Sword/Shield and think if they don't make remakes, they'll add the rest of the national 'dex to what we got.
