I remember for years people begged and begged for these remakes, then they were revealed in May 2009 or so if I remember right. Good games. I had both HG and SS, but I sold SS to a friend of mine.

My Silver had died and I had been scamed into buying a Gold on which the save also didn't work (even though seller had said it did on amazon).

Let's Go had great mon variety. Knowing Gamefreak a non Let's Go Johto re-remake would have that same shitty mon distribution as the original games.

LGPE did the Kanto region right with proper level scaling for wild and trainer encounters, diversified routes to include more Pokémon, and brought Megas and regional forms into the forefront. Johto is the one region that needs all of this the most. You catch fucking garbage level Pokémon all the way through both in the remakes and in the originals.

Given they're releasing remakes in release order (kanto > johto > hoenn > kanto) Sinnoh's next in line for the remake treatment (and would be regardless. You need to be sectioned if you think they'd ever abandon their old style of remaking games, just because they tried to hook GO-normies back into the core games). I'm sure they'll use it in Gen IX to pad out that Gen, allow themselves to start Gen X in the 30th anniversary year. Not as if the dialogue in-game matters, they left 4-5 years between FRLG and HGSS, still had the game set three years after the events in FRLG.
