The keys in secure.7z let you encrypt/decrypt your private headers. There's also a file there that documents the decrypted format, which varies by manufacturer. This would have been bad for Nintendo if that leaked out back in the gateway/sky3ds days(worthless now that everyone uses cfw+cias which don't need those headers). One manufacturer, SanDisk, uses sequential values. It would be fun to try and hunt down a sandisk manufactured game with a value close to 0.

I absolutely don't care for prototypes, prototypes don't have any use except a "wow cool" for a short moment.
Source codes are the ones that actually contribute to the communities and are highly valuable in research projects of any kind.

I have zero doubt that the people who got the files in their hands are watching these threads. So if you're leaker, I personally understand that there is no reason to release everything at once. But please, consider speeding things up.

There are many people waiting for this stuff to build valuable resources for the community from it. In the case of stretching this over years, you're literally just wasting everyone's time, loose attention and most importantly you loose the kind of people that can actually make use of this stuff.

Timestamps in the 7z showed whoever packed it had it since like July, right around the time some big obscuregamer fag made a post offering $5k for it
~6 months later and nobody even knew it had leaked out besides that gay OG group, pretty safe to say they had no plans about it, too bad since I'd imagine a debug GE build could probably help xenia guys look into the PD/GE graphics glitch.

My interest in actually hacking gen4 or 7 is next to nil, and even with the assets, the amount of tools and de-moonrunization required to get anything going is massive. I'd help out any group looking into this out of sheer interest in the game's internals and a passion for reveng, but for doing it on my own I'd rather look into a game I'd actually do more with.
It seems all interest died after the initial hype and that's a massive shame, since this shit takes time, and I'd hope someone picks it up for the long haul. You don't get kickstarts as massive as this very often, yet the only interested autists seem too boneheaded to grab the opportunity.

Yes but a big part of it is what >>45839119 is saying. There is not much interest in Gen 7 research (I haven't even played any Gen 7 games). Gen 4, there's some interest, but mainly for HGSS, and not DPPT (which is kinda annoying to build for).

As far as we know, all of the build issues would have been resolved by the 3DS era (As they now use visual studio as an SDK), but like I said, the SM source is incomplete, and for all we know will never be completed. Gen 6 source might have actually been cool if we had the complete source as modding those games (and possibly providing Win32 builds) could actually be possible.

The CTR SDK uses visual studio but it's still its own thing. Pretty sure it can be used standalone and in other IDEs, like the NTR SDK.
