I meant either specs + 4 attacks, or LO SG + 3 attacks.
Poison as a max move is very poor, even factoring in the spa boost. SG doesn't really have space for it, so you go fire punch / boomburst / Overdrive as those moves hit the hardest (most fairies can't really touch you anyway and you cleave them with boomburst / overdrive)
With specs, since you don't have much else, Sludge Bomb is an acceptable move to slot in alongside boomburst / overdrive / Volt Switch, and since you lack LO to boost yout damage regardless of dynamax or not, the max poison effect here is very nice and can allow you to snowball.
Banking on the gmax-move's poison chance is not good enough to run venoshock imo, especially considering that:
A) This means you must've used your max move beforehand, and you are not always sure it'll deal the right status effect)
B) If the match ain't over yet after maxing and dealing damage all around you, tox is not going to have the best of times, nor deal the best damage.
Overall, Poison move is not good enough on tox since it hits nothing boomburst or overdrive wouldn't hit hard enough by themselves and, in the case you want to use one, Sludge Bomb has immediate power and does not need toxic spikes support nor you having to dynamax THEN use stun shock overdrive THEN survive as small tox and fire off the move.
