I see all these people playing pokemon having all of these ridiculous runs

What's the point of this?

I never fainted once accept for on whitney, and even then it wasn't that difficult to figure out

I would get pissed if I had to go through gen 1's story that many times

Had static sprites up until 2010, and anything after gen 2 is shit compared to anything else on the hardware.

When I was a kid, I played through a game once, got 12-15 Pokémon to lvl. 50, tried variant movesets that would get rid of surprises and played the stadium of the corresponding gen.

>Rented and beat gen 2 stadium
>skipped gen 3 altogether
the gen 2-3 gap allowed me to play many rpgs that were much better than pokemon
>played gen4 stadium because it was a gift.

Once I figured out about iv/evs and natures, I said fuck it and turned my back on the whole shit. There are better games out there don't require you do that shit.


Honestly you should play something else, try to find rare games in the same genre.
There is better shit out there.
