>>45838593>this game looks like they jammed 2 different stories in one gameThat's the point, that's what they did. Maybe even more than 2, considering how many random unexplored plot twist you have near the end. But mostly, it's a new story abruptly interrupted by a failed attempt at being another Explorers.
>why wouldn't I expect a similar story?Rescue Team and Explorers aren't as similar as you think they are. If you simplify them to the core, they follow the same formula, but all the details are different. Gates to Infinity is a bit more similar to Explorers in that it involves changing the future, but I think a bit of a coincidence might be involved there because that's Kyurem's thing, and also because the rest of the game doesn't feel like it's actively trying to copy Explorers all the time.
>I mean if the first 3 games are similar in almost everythingThey follow a basic formula, but they're not all that similar to each others. Not to the extent the latter half of Super tries to copy Explorers and to a lesser extent Gates to Infinity. Why did this game get rid of most of the characters it introduced at the start and developed for 10 hours, only to replace them with Wigglytuff's guild expies that never get any of that? Why is the antagonist just the Bittercold again, but this time randomly having Yveltal's powers, despite being unrelated to Yveltal, but also in control of it?
>with the legendaries turned onto stone shitSee, that's another thing I don't get about this game. It keeps teasing this because, of course, you would think it's Yveltal. But no, it's just random.
