even if you can get all 4 on the bench consistently, its max damage output is only 240 unmodified
better off using Steelix as an attacker and keeping a steady flow of Wailord and Gyarados with Nessa

I thought it was going to. It's attack and speed looked good and its moves aren't bad either. I have no idea why it wasn't more popular before it got flip turn and people started using it on rain teams

it has no bulk to speak of, water is a commonly resisted typing and when dracovish was in the meta seismitoad was everywhere
now it gets off strong, fast flip turns with little fear of priority because priority is ass right now

All the typical water resist, that every team would be using regardless if it was meta or not, beat it.
With flipturn it at least forces them in and gets momentum for partners like Zapdos and Torn to take advantage of.

Its was pretty good on OU when the gen dropped, beacuse it a swift swimers that could set up rain and hit you a rainboosted stab max water move.

I didn't see many people use it way back when I was playing BSS, but I used it to pretty good effect. Opponents would burn their dynamax to kill my first two mons and then I would send in barraskewda to reverse sweep easily.

The only good priority (which is used by a top 10 mon, mind you) shits on Barraskewda and 4/6 members of the typical rain build. If priority overall were a bit better Barraskewda would be slightly better off because it resists Bullet Punch, Aqua Jet and Ice Shard.

Its not that bad. But the fact stands that it has really shitty defensive stats so you can't hard switch it in without taking a big risk. If you compare its to other swift swim attackers like Swampert and Kingdra it's night and day.

Even so, Swampert and Kingdra are better for switching in and dealing damage. Barraskewda needs either a U-Turn from Pelipper or to be used as a revenge killer to get in while avoiding damage.
