Something that actually could avoid you to let understand what's happening. If you're not used to this style, you could of course feel a bit confused and oppressed by the amount of elements, but it doesn't mean the image itself it's "cluttered" if the original targed are the japanese which are used to this kind of comic. And you're not absolutely allowed to define it a mess, just because you don't know a certain culture or a certain style of design.
