These games are JUST made to show off Pokemon, they have no other value. If they looked bad, they would be worthless.
Sword and Shield looks bad but there's more to it than just showing the Pokemon off.

They force them on for multiplayer. Even as short and lazy as many of them are, they still eat up a ton of time. Especially in singles.

SwSH has miniscule amount of content besides Pokemon battles and Pokemon interaction via camps. The story is shit, the region is claustrophobic and shallow, the lore is non-existent. If we consider that there was supposed to be more than just Pokemon there, SwSh look EVEN MORE BAD.
