What reason would you delete your current save? I would maybe save it for post-game depending on how far you are, but don’t delete your save over it.

You could just start a new profile and have a new game on that while keeping your hard earned current save. I enjoyed having the Isle of Armor as a place to get different pokemon on a playthrough.

Crown tundra doesn’t scale levels to match you so a lot of content is cut off from you even if you go through it, but you can still do dynamax adventures and raid around that part of Galar.

IoA can be played during the story, CT is post-game only (or supposed to be). If you're still not finished main game, go to IoA fuck around (box your team if you still want to use the current ones ofc) then go finish the game, unlocking the end of IoA and allowing you to start CT from scratch.

Yeah, you’d be too powerful for Isle of Armor to be a challenge. They scale the levels to your gym badges, so if you put together a new team of low leveled mons they wouldn’t be strong enough for trainers in the post game scaled IoA.

No, shit scales to base game WA levels, but just by what you do it makes more sense to do IoA during base gameplay. If you've already finished, just run through it anyway, Mustard and Honey both have high level teams and you need to get Kubfu to a certain level before finishing its storyline and fighting Mustard's full team anyway.

You can play CT anytime, but a newbie would likely be discouraged at the sight of a Level 70 Pokémon battle from the start. And the final battle with Calyrex isn’t accessible unless you are Champion

I know you *can* do it the other way, but the way it's meant to be done is finish the game then start the 2nd DLC.
