Triple and Rotation Battles have been retired because they can't care enough to bring 'em back and/or they literally cannot function anymore since the games would probably slow down to a crawl and they're already pretty slow in battle
So if we ever get Unova remakes, or fingers crossed Unova sequels (giving us Kyurem's original form), two of the main draws of the generation will be gone forever
