>>45839411Because they are part of the fan base in their own way, from Nintendo higher ups that worked with them since early development (including the late president Miyamoto) to important enough members of Game Freak like the director of IoA and CT and his generation of co-workers. Why else would've they brought back apricorns, early movie like legendary plots, following pokemon and exploration/sidetracking if they didn't care? Not to mention they keep pulling back stuff from the bunker of the Space world demos with shit like Komala, Spectrier and giving Farfetch'd an evolution that mysteriously references sir and "Madame". I don't think these will be "1:1" gold and silver remakes either, and I've stated this in other threads, there has to be a reason why it's not just Gold ___ and Silver ___ instead of their wings.
