Considering the quality of the music in Gen 4 and beyond is nowhere near as bad as the first three games, I'm kinda hoping they don't just take the same songs and replace the instruments with orchestra samples, instead they should go with full remixes ala FF7 Remake.

HGSS' OST is good overall but my issue with it is that it often adds a lot of stuff to the tracks that doesn't really need to be there. The biggest aggressor is the Johto Trainer theme which takes the clear-cut and high energy original and overcomplicates the shit out of it.
