>>45843469If the virus was as lethality as you want it to be, it would be, excluding those with coomorbidities, the poor that bear the brunt of it (as they always do). In america, as the left is so wont to say, the includes a disproportionate number of minorities. Thankfully for the left and the right, neither large swaths of minorities nor those that don't wear the mask are dying; unfortunately for both of us, perhaps by pure coincidence, the modern aristocracy has used this situation to further cement their position as the hegemons of global society yet, unlike our noble aristocrats of yore, estate law is now tantamount to country law as the estates' territories are entire countries.
Most, specifically amischweine, don't recognize that both sides of the bipartisan divide tend toward the same goal: a dilution of the indigenous workforce and thereby the facilitation of funneling wealth into the pockets of the ultra rich. GDP growth without a corresponding decrease in the wealth gap between the lower/middle/upper classes and the ultra rich can only mean one thing, after all.
The irony of the global political situation is that all sides are working towards goals they don't want as they are either ignorant of the machinations of their party or tacitly accept them as the lesser of two evils. The west has become a genuine Orwellian nightmare except, unlike in Orwell's novels, there is no ephemerally cognizant protagonist.
