>>45846291Bannette's problem wasn't it's movepool, it's the stats. It's got a fucking terrible statline and can't do shit or take a hit.
>>45846310Absolutely fucking not, if anything it benefitted from it.
>>45846316>>45847010>This meme again>>45846342Grumpig was awful in Gen 3 UU except in very specific circumstances and never did well again anywhere else.
>>45846359It's debatable. Swords Dance sets exist that aren't ass, but Sceptile's issues are deeper than the split. If you just swapped his sp.atk with his attack or gave him actual fucking special coverage, Sceptile would honestly be fine.
>>45848567THIS is an actual answer. Typhlosion's only gimmick over Charizard was having a electric attack that allowed it to kill things Zard couldn't touch otherwise, like Gyarados. Losing that fucked it over too hard for it to recover because, since it's base stats were literally just the same as fucking Charizard's, it just became a worse Charizard. Even with Extrasensory and other new special moves, and other physical coverage (it even got Wild Charge at one point iirc), Typhlosion has no fucking purpose anymore.
Oh yeah, and to pour salt in the wound, Charizard got Thunder Punch in later gens anyways, and could actually fucking use it with the X-Mega.
