>>45849291I tried playing some of it recently, not seriously but to just get a feel for what kind of hack it is. Really like the variety of starters and options to start from anywhere. Map seems kind of weird to me, but then I haven't played Gen 2 in a long time so IDK how much was actually changed and how much is stuff I should already recognize.
But yeah, making most of Johto black is stupid. Not because I'm racist, but because I just plain don't get, if they wanted there to be more racial diversity in the games, why they didn't seem to do the same for Kanto. Like at least if the whole game was like that, it'd seem consistent instead of stupid and weird. (putting aside the fact that it's weird to try and make regions based on Japan to have the racial diversity of the U.S., or whatever they were actually trying to do there)
I will probably try to play it for real one day if I'm the mood for a hack. Obviously the above paragraph is pretty insignificant compared to other stuff.
