Given it's in French and they dump ALL Nintendo-related videos on one page in EU languages (so pokémon vids appear on Nintendo France, Nintendo Germany, instead of a separate), checking the French yt channel vids doesn't show anything related to last year's DLC, while the english Official channel does have DLC blurb vids. As I said, it's likely Nintendo doing some tidying-up before dropping their January Direct, the German channel has no mention of the DLC reveal video in its listings either, even though it has the IoA trailer from March till up.

If something is announced in February, it would probably be a spin-off or a Virtual Console/Anniversary Collection thing.

With the exception of the SwSh DLC (for obvious reasons), remakes and upper versions are typically not announced until Spring - understandably since they have less new content than a new generation game.

The Gen II games are on the 3DS eShop. There's no emulator to handle playing Nintendo handheld games on the eShop or in the NSO subscrpition service however so I doubt it will come to Switch.

They're not going to bother releasing a GB emulator for Switch, just for Pokémon when the rest of the library isn't that overwhelmingly popular (Tetris selling as much as it did by being boxed in GB systems, Pokémon being the overwhelming seller by its end) and they only sold 1.5m copies of Gen I's VC releases. It's all about returns, there's little point porting the GB emulator to Switch when it just won't be used over the NES/SNES ones due to ho much more popular their games are/were.

From what I can see, 1.5 million copies sold for Gen 1 VC was between the release on Feb 27, 2016 and March 31, 2016. So presumably, they'd sold a good chunk more since then.

I'm different then. I take comfort in all the older games, the Kanto and Johto seasons of the anime, and in the pokemon themselves even though I don't like how things are now. Things aren't all lost for me either. I liked the PMD remake and there's Snap 2 to look forward to.

It's not TPC, you galloping retard, it's Nintendo France's yt page. They dump all Nintendo-related vids on their page, just as Nintendo UK sticks the videos on Pokémon's page up on theirs after they air. Nintendo France and Germany's yt page have privated the directs relating to the DLC reveal from last year. Pokémon still has it on theirs while Nintendo UK's has no trace of it.
Nintendo Direct for January is on its way, the satellites are clearing space on their pages for it.

All the privated videos are on european language Nintendo pages (France, Germany, even the UK one has privated last year's DLC reveal video), Pokémon's english channel still has it up. The fact there's a pokémon milestone anniversary coming around next month is another indication - they'll release a video closer to their anniversary to celebrate it, vs Nintendo who traditionally reveal their first 6 months line-up and coming games in January where possible.
It's gong to be another Nintendo-focused Direct and retards here still can't learn to look at the bigger picture to see that, you included.

nah it's perfectly doable, sell a nintendo-branded cardboard headset and a wand that acts as the movement sensor and have the bundle come with a link to the app. have the app connect to HOME or just be a standalone. It's not like they haven't made an app before.
